Mezzanine Floor - Loughborough

Storage Concepts recently completed the installation of 2 large mezzanine floors for an existing client in Loughborough.

The expanding bespoke kitchen manufacturer had taken new premises and required additional manufacturing floor space.

The Challenge

Storage Concepts consulted with the client and designed and installed 2 off single tier mezzanine floors, one of which has been designed to take a second tier at a later date.

The 2 floors totalled over 2,500 sqm and were installed including full one hour fire protection.

We also supplied and installed 2 off hydraulic goods lifts and enclosures, one of which being designed to service the second-tier mezzanine structure at a later date.

The Solution

In conjunction with the completion of lighting and emergency lighting to the underside of the mezzanine floors, and the inclusion of fire detection and alarms, Storage Concepts handled all aspects of the building control application and approval utilising an Independent Approval Inspector.

All works were completed on budget and on time and are now providing valuable additional manufacturing and storage space for the client in their new premises.
