Drive In Racking - Scunthorpe

Two runs of drive in pallet racking to give additional pallet storage space for a recycling company in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire successfully installed by Storage Concepts.

The Challenge

Storage Concepts were tasked with discussing with our new client the capacities of additional pallets they could stock and have organised through the utilisation of drive in pallet racking into the goods in and out areas.

We were contacted through the new client through recommendation from another company they deal with whom we have delivered successful racking projects for in the past.

Working closely with the client, we produced a few options of drive in racking layouts with changes to these layouts to suit the clients needs to deliver the required number of pallets to stock.

The Solution

The drive in racking layout was decided upon after a number of revisions to the drawings to suit their exact pallet quantity requirements.

Storage Concepts supplied and delivered the drive in racking to site, offloaded and began the installation works across one working week to install the racking into the clients clear working area safely using scissors lifts.

Upon completion, the client was met by our contracts managers to review the works and sign off and commence the use of the drive in racking.

This drive in racking solution has created the client 456 amount of pallet spaces within their two areas.
